Reiki
Reiki is an ancient form of energy work that was preserved in Tibet. Energy Work as we know it on Planet Earth has its beginnings in the land now called Egypt and Ethiopia. "Rei" means souls or spirit and "Ki" means life force or energy. In ancient times on the continent of Africa "Sakhu" (a Kemetic term meaning, overstanding illumination of the eye, the soul of being) was practiced in combination with energy work to promote peace and harmony within ones whole being.
Empress Tintawi is a Certified Reiki Master in the Usui System. She has been practicing Reiki for 13 years. She combines Reiki with other forms of energy work in her therapy sessions with clients. All energy work was passed down to Empress Tintawi through a variety of teachers and spiritual healers. She believes in the body and spirit as one. To heal the body and not the spirit leaves one unbalanced, to heal the spirit and not the body has a similar result. Empress Tintawi believes in treating both to create harmony in each clients life and their surroundings.
Empress Tintawi offers Reiki Treatments, Raindrop Therapy, Herbal Poultices, and CSAT Therapy (Crystal Stone Aromatherapy). Treatments are available in our home/office located in Englewood, NJ.
